I began making knives in 2004 due to the want for a better fishing and hunting knife. I started slow, with files and sandpaper,  making fixed blades. Eventually I got real tools built my belt grinder and learned how to use it.Soon after I got into forging, I took a liking to differentially heat treated blades and Damascus , slowly began to teach myself how to make them. Since then it's been smooth sailing. Today, the majority of my knives are hand forged, and I prefer them over all other types of knives for their look , allows me to express my creativity in new and interesting ways. I mostly use Australian figured timber for my handles. I'm a full voting member of the Australian Knifemakers Guild . When I'm not making knives I'm a fitter and turner working for a company also an active hunter, shooter and fisherman .

Knives made the old-fashioned way- one at a time, by hand .

Please give them same care you would a quality firearm; do not store them in the sheath, and keep them dry, with a periodic light coating of oil or wax to prevent deterioration and discoloring. My knives should provide many years of enjoyable service with minimal care and I hope they will become a trusted companion.
